this wine has been made naturally, i.e. without additions of any kind. Natural yeasts, organic viticulture, hand-picking, no fining of filtration. It is a lighter style of red wine, a blend of two red and one white grape variety.
Mas Candi has specialised in sourcing and re-introducing autochthonous Penedes grape varities. This wine is a blend of MANDÓ 32% (red), SUMOLL 39% (red) and XAREL·LO 29% (white). The Mandó and Xarel.lo were macerated on skins for 17 days. The Sumoll was pressed directly. Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks.

This is a fresh wine and should be chilled to 8-10 C prior to drinking. It is fruit-driven and approachable while still having layers of complexity.
