With no Gamay available for Timo in 2019, he has branched out and brought in a few new varieties.
This Merlot might be the real surprise packet from his suite of 2019 Yarra wines. As is his way, Timo fermented this as 100% whole bunches – an unusual technique with Merlot, for sure – but Timo does things his own way.
